Job Description

TEST is seeking a High School Engineering Intern to be based in Omaha, Nebraska.

This position is expected to begin in Feb 2025.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in high school, with a minimum of one year completed.

• Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced math courses (pre-calculus or above).

• Experience with public speaking and presenting.

• Awards in the field of science, technology, engineering, and/or math.

• Exposure to AutoCAD programs.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Ability to communicate clearly over email, messaging, and in-person with strong writing skills.

• Ability to work independently on projects after receiving initial guidance.

Additional Information

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Omaha, Nebraska. The selected candidate must be available to work in Omaha, Nebraska on a scheduled basis.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $18.58/hour - $25.55/hour.
